The art of resting

Our ability to rest — to truly pause and recover — is shaped not only by our biology, but also by the environment we grew up in. Many of us have inherited unconscious beliefs about rest: that it's lazy, selfish, or unproductive. In a society that rewards constant doing, rest has become something we must fight for.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Reflect on your personal relationship with:

    • Rest

    • Recovery

    • Slowing down

  • Explore how:

    • Cultural messages shape our beliefs about rest

    • Family patterns influence whether we allow ourselves to pause

  • Learn:

    • Practical ways to integrate rest into daily life — even when busy

    • How to create your own formula for meaningful rest and renewal

By the end of the workshop, you’ll:

  • Understand what genuinely restful means for you

  • Develop a personalized approach to breaks and holidays

  • Align rest with your unique needs, rhythms, and values

🕒 Duration: 1–1.5 hours

👥 Group size: 5–30 people

Global distress and resilience

We are living in unprecedented times, where climate change, war and conflict, take a significant toll on our mental health, our sense of safety, and our connection to community. This workshop doesn’t offer quick fixes — instead, it creates space for truth-telling, emotional processing, and the rediscovery of inner and shared strength. It is an invitation to cultivate not just survival, but conscious, value-driven living in the face of a world that asks more of us than ever before.

In this workshop, you will:

  • How collective crises shape our:

    • Inner world

    • Existential fears (future, meaning, fragility of life)

  • The psychological impact of living with:

    • Constant uncertainty

    • Feelings of helplessness or fear

    • Disconnection from purpose

  • The resources we still hold:

    • Connection

    • Reflection

    • Courage

    • Ethical action
